In The Begining



Born and raised in Te Awamutu in the mid late 70's, relocated to Hamilton City in Feb. 1990, where upon he attended Hillcrest High School, elected to take Typing and met classmate Kevin Glover, he also resulted with a First Class Pass in Pitmans Elementary Typing [1]. Nigel has predominantly been a resident of Hamilton East since this time.


Radio



In 1991 Nigel discovered Nexus Magazine, and Contact 89FM

In 1996 Nigel joined Contact 89FM as a volunteer announcer

In 1997 Nigel joined Supersonic Soundsystem Thursdays with a Drum and Bass show slotted in between the Dub and Reggae Show hosted by DJ Atmosphere, and Hip Hop Impact, with Omega B.

In 1998 Nigel left Contact 89FM to pursue marginal amounts of travel

In 1999 Nigel went to Wanaka for a month and did daily slots on Radio Wanda (89FM), he also guested on the weekly Hip Hop show a couple of times. Nigel then went on to join 89UFM as a volunteer announcer taking over the Biosphere show previously hosted by DJ Paul Medder. This show was Co-hosted by Callum August, and the name was changed to Telatram 1 a mis-spelling of Teletraan 1[2]

In 2000 Nigel joined 89UFM as paid staff, hosting the Midnight to Dawn show, then went on to fill in Martin Walters pre Breakfast show host role as Copy Writer

In 2000 Nigel along with all other staff was made redundant.

In 2005 Nigel had a weekly slot on Raglan Community Radio


Design



1990's Nigel designed various flyers for bits and bobs.

2000 Nigel did some design work for UFM, and BPC Beats Promotional Collective.

2001 Nigel worked for Tom Dalton at the WSU as a Freelance Graphic Designer. In the same year Nigel went on to provide his services to Dan Howard at Click Sound, and re-encountered Chris Field, who had grown up accross the road from Nigel in Te Awamutu. At this time Nigel also met Brian of Cornerstone roots

2002 Nigel did design internship at KOG Transmissions in Auckland, producing a limited edition K.O.G. and Low Profile Drum & Bass T-Shirt
