From LPs to CDs, over the years Hamilton music buyers have had a number of music stores in which to indulge their habits. For music instrument stores, see Music Instrument Stores

Current[edit]

Past[edit]

Hamilton also hosted several North Island Record Collector's Fairs at the Hamilton Gardens.

Libraries[edit]

An often overlooked resource for music gathering is the humble library. Hamilton Public Library has an excellent selections of music CDs available for borrowing, as well as DVDs and wide selection of music books and magazines, while university students can borrow from the University Library's collection of mostly classical CDs.
