Love and Violence initially featured brothers Andrew Newth and Scott Newth, and later added Scott Brodie on guitar. They released one tape, The Nth Times, on Airwigg records in 1992, including the song Sin which recieved much airplay in Contact 89FM at that time. It was rereleased on CD a year later with two bonus tracks.

Another song, Violator, appeared on the Discordia Concors CD.
