Blues band King Biscuit went through several line-up changes, starting life with Stan Jagger (guitar), Mark Knighton (vocals, saxopohone) and Steven Judd (violin, mandolin, vocals). Later members included Paul Oakley (bass) and Paul Tregilgas (drums). King Biscuit won the 1991 Marketplace Busker of the Year Competition, and released an album Doubtful Ancestory. They had their song Get a life included on HUM Sampler 92, and What is love? included on the compilation Discordia Concors in 1993. They released the singles Crazy Dreams and Bum Hits the Floor in 1994 on Hark Records.
