Jerihko were a four-piece band from Hamilton Girls High School, fronted by Katie Scott, who were Waikato Regional Champions, and ultimately came third in the finals of the national finals of Rockquest in 2000. Ultimate winners in 2000 were Evermore. During the competition, Scott also won the award for Womens Musicianship at both the regional and national events, and the award for lyric writing at the Waikato regional event. The band is featured on the documentary Pepsismokefree Rockquest 2000, playing their song Surely.
