Jane Pierard was famous for her hair, which must have cost a lot of money to upkeep. She also played cello/guitar and sang in Rumpus Room and Cave until moving to Wellington in 2001.
Jane: I've just randomly found this on the net - to clear up any confusion over the hair (quite a mundane thing to be remembered for might I add) it cost me nothing to keep up. It was wild and woolly of its own accord.
