The ''Hamilton Live Music Trust'' was established in 2008 through [[Hamilton Community Arts Council]] in response to several music forums. As well as looking to address the gig venue problems of Hamilton, they also organised the [[Band Experiments]] and [[Black Thursdays|Black Thursday]] gigs. They also organised the [[Waikato Music Expo]] and [[Circle Jerk 2017]].
