Fridge Records

Fridge Records evolved from Zygote Productions, and was so named because it released songs recorded at Contact 89FM's Fridge Studios, which in turn were situated in the position of the refrigerator unit of the cowshed of the old farm on the site where the University of Waikato is today (i.e., in the building called The Cowshed since the inception of the university). Fridge Records released the Hamilton music compilation The Fridge and Wendyhouse's Hot Action Plastic.
