A [[Top 13]] was played on the final show on [[Contact 89FM]] the day it ceased broadcasting on 17 June 1998. Listeners voted on their favourite tracks played on [[Contact]] during the station's existence. The final Top 13 was biased in favour of songs from the station's recent history, which fairly reflected the station's (and listeners') emphasis on "new music", as opposed to classic hits, and the continually changing audience of the station. One Hamilton band, [[MSU]], made the final Top 13.
