Diastop were active from roughly 1998 to 2000. Members were Paul Innes (guitar, vocals), Evay Judge (drums, guitar), Jon Spark (also drums, guitar, keyboards; Evay and Jon took turns swapping roles) and Kushla Samujh on bass. No known releases. In the regional finals of the Smokefree Rockquest in 1998 they won the "Stage Image Award".
Innes, Judge and Spark went on to The Slit Family. Paul Innes and Evay Judge have since been the founding members of GodsQ a.k.a Q and The Beautiful Burn.
Innes has also played with Nervous Wreck and Stumble, and Judge has worked with many artists as a producer, sound-tech, session-player and DJ for EvL Productions at The Bassment studio.
