''Cool Drop'' was a collection of songs recorded by a loose group of musicians over a period of approximately three years, released under the name [[Eightyeight]]. A video was made for the song 'Angel' by Penni Bousfield. Tracks from the EP appeared on [[Year Zero]] and [[Zero Point One]]. All 500 copies pressed were successfully given away for free.
''Cool Drop'' was a selection from songs recorded by Daniel Howard, Chris Field and a loose group of musicians over a period of approximately three years at [[DownbeatStudio]], released under the name [[Eightyeight]] ''c.''2003. The EP was produced, mixed and mastered by Howard and Field.

Main vocalist [[Penni Bousfield]] wrote 'Angel' (and later made a video for this song). Bousfield co-wrote 'Close Your Eyes' and 'Whatever Happens' with Howard, the latter taking its lyrics from the writings of Roman philosopher Marcus Aurelius. 'Close Your Eyes' appeared on [[Year Zero]] and 'Angel' on [[Zero Point One]]. 500 copies of 'Cool Drop' were pressed and distributed.
