''Carnaby Blue'' was a cover band active between 1969 and 1972, who primarily played songs by artists such as Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Grand Funk Railroad. [[Steve Spillane]], [[Stan Lim]], [[Paul Kunac]], [[Paul Middlebrook]] and [[John Booth]] were the original members, with [[Keith MacMillan]] replacing Booth, and [[Mike Abbot]] replacing Kunac in 1969. A second vocalist [[Peter Christieson]] was added soon after that.
