Sarah was later replaced by Stan Jagger (guitars), formerly of Mudpeople, and Justine Francis (violin) when the band moved to Hamilton. They released the tapes Catharsis (1989, in Rotorua) and Purified 7X (1991, in Hamilton) on thier own Bomb Records. Prior to breaking up in 1992, Paul Oakley replaced Jagger. Book of Martyrs - featuring Jonathon, Alan and Justine only - contributed the track The Man that Said to the 1993 compilation Discordia Concors. They briefly reformed at this time to play at the album release party.

They had the song Will Shiver released on the second Flying Nun/Student Radio Network Freak the Sheep 2 compilation.
