Azazel were a Death/Black Metal band formed in 1992. They had previously gone under the name Gore Story; three songs from this period can be found on They Came from out of Nowhere. Azazel released two cassettes of demos, Azazel (demo) and Nocturnal Cognation, and posthumously released a CD contaning tracks from both titled 1992 The Demo's. The band included Craig Williamson (bass; Datura), Arc of Ascent and Dane (Gawj, Coffee Rage, Aborted Christians).
