''Atomic Garage'' were a young hardcore/punk/ska band formed in about 1999.  Members were [[Joe Hitchcock]] on vocals and guitar, [[Nick Tidmarsh]] also on guitar, [[Alister Agen]] on drums and [[Richard Conroy]] on bass.  They played alongside [[Thrifty]] and [[Sombre]] a few times, some shows at [[JBCs]], came second in the ''Showtime '99 Band Blitz'', were in the 1999 [[Rockquest]] regional finals, and played their last gig on Friday, February 18th 2000 at [[JBCs]] with ''Foamy Ed'', [[Pugface]], and [[Thrifty]]; which was also Thrifty's last gig.
