Amy Racecar has existed in various formations since early 2002. They play Pop/Rock music with other bits. Originally based in Napier, and then straddling the Waikato with half the band living in Hamilton, Billy Truimvist made the move to Hamilton to continue his never ending quest to add musicians to The Racecar that suck, but not like that.

Line up
Amy Racecar have had inumerable lineup changes over the years, the most famous ex-member being Rebecca Truimvist who left the band to pursue her whorish adventures. The offical band comment on her departure was, "Slut!".
The current lineup is:
