Editing Acme

''Acme'' - Aids Carrying Mosquito Epidemic were a punk band from Raglan and Hamilton.

[[Poondip]](bass) had the concept of Acme after living in Kenya and a garden shed in Raglan and together with [[Sol Cooper]] (vocals) and [[James Campkin]] (drums) started writing and playing songs around 1994. [[Justin Black]] originally played guitar until he committed suicide.[[Gareth Pemberton]] took over on guitars for a while until [[Matt Henderson]] joined and brought a bunch of new songs.

They played a few gigs including supporting ''Shihad'' and ''HLAH'' at the Raglan pub and recorded an album at Rex's rehearsal studio for $20. 

[Poondip]] continues to play as Acme.
