Talk:Releases with no Information

So we're creating releases by the release name? Where should the band be referenced, and should we add some sort of ability (category) to sort by year? --Lemon 05:46, 6 April 2006 (BST)

How about for each "release" we also add a category for what type of release it is.
EG: [[catergory:releases]] [[category:EPs]] and so forth for Albums, MP3s, Singles?

Can I suggest we draw a line at full album releases for the MP3 category, and singles being either Radio singles (receiving airplay) or released CD Singles< --Lemon 00:16, 8 April 2006 (BST)

Agreed about full album/EP only releases for MP3s. Otherwise, every tom dick and harry who has a myspace page is gonna want in... put them on the band/artist's own page, for sure though.

For singles, it should have to be a physical CD or vinyl single too, unless it warrants special mention.

I also think having CDRs might be a little overkill - most albums released in the past 10 years by Htown acts are gonna be CDRs, right? I mean, I think even MSU's Bloodspew might've been CDR. Just have them under albums, what do yous reckon? --Danduran 01:46, 8 April 2006 (BST)

Is this page still needed? The "Bands with no information" page works great, but this one is a bit weird... especially as i cant figure out whether some of these releases belong to... Comments? - thedugganaut 4 November 2006
