Editing Illegal Green

''Illegal Green'' was a high school band, who won a Waikato Battle of the Bands compeition sometime in the 1980s. The band included [[Jacob Nooyen]] (vocals) who went on to be the winemaker at ''Vilagrad Winery''.  They released one 'double A side' single, featuring the songs ''Mary Mary'' and ''Why Don't You Want Me''. Both appear on the 2015 compilation [[Hamiltune - Rockin' the Tron in the 80's]], released following a fire at ''Vilagrad Winery''.
