In 2005, in only their fourth gig, the band supported ''Billy Corgan'' at the ''St James Theatre'', Auckland. [[Kyle "Zakk" Wetton]] joined as a second guitarist in early 2007. In the same year the band won the Waikato/Bay of Plenty final in the [[World Battle of the Bands]] and competed at the national final where they finished second. In 2008 ''Eqwanox'' has been a finalist in the KFC 'Sounds From your Hometown' competition, and finished second equal in the [[Axces]] '[[Rattle the Room]]' competition. They also gained the support slot for ''Seether'' at Vector Arena, Auckland. In 2009 the band won the [[Axces]] 'Rattle the Room' competition. In 2010 they released their debut album, [[All Roads Lead From Here]].
