+ | ''Drunken Nights in Dublin'' was an album recorded by [[Chris Thompson]] in 1974. Produced on acetate by ''Apple Corps Ltd'', U.K., the acetate was lost by Thompson, left at the E.M.I factory in Middlesex where it was taken to get a vinyl edition pressed. Following Thompson's return to New Zealand, the master tapes were destroyed in a fire in 1982. The original acetate was stored, then sold, by a well known record shop in Soho, then held by a U.K. music specialist retailer for around 20 years, before being identified and sold on eBay in March 2018. With the re-emergence of the acetate, the album was released on ''Pinenut Records'' with a gig at [[Nivara Lounge]] on 24 November 2018 on CD (PNR-007), LP or as part of a vinyl box set (PNR-003). | ||
