Scott Towers

Scott Towers, aka Chopper Reedz, has been the saxophonist for Wellington band Fat Freddys Drop since 2007. Towers was born in Hamilton, and attended Hillcrest Normal, Berkley Intermediate and Hillcrest High. Towers took up the saxophone while at Berkley Intermediate, after he broke his leg playing football, leaving him in a cast for none months. In Hamilton he played for Johnny and the Phantoms, before moving to Wellington to attend music school, and joining Fat Freddys Drop.
