Inturnal

Inturnal were formed in late 2002 by Joelle Walker (lead vocals), Carleen Janlewicz (guitar, back up vocals), Gabriel Smith (guitar, back up vocals), Mr X (bass) and Sharnay Moxey (drums). In 2003 they made the semi-finals of the Generator Battle of the Bands, the semi-finals of the "National Battle of the Bands", and won the "Peavey Band Search". They played several gigs at Soundproof. Joelle moved to the London for a time in 2005 where she was in the band "Angel cry". Carleen moved to Australia and runs "Amplify arts". Mr X lives in Wellington. Gabriel, Sharnay and Joelle now live in Hamilton. All members of the band are still in contact. Although none are actually in bands at the moment all still share a love of music.
